Which George Plymale

Plymale is an uncommon surname, but I am not the only George Plymale II. If you are trying to work out whether you have found the right one, this page should help settle it.

I am George D. Plymale II — a software developer in southern Ohio, and the author of the Restoration Studies blog, among other things. This website is the one I maintain, and it is the best place to confirm anything about my work.

The accounts that are mine

If an account carrying my name is not listed here, it is not mine.

If you have come across a court record

Online searches for my name may return an Ohio appellate decision, State v. Plymale, 2021-Ohio-2918 (Fifth District, Delaware County). That case is not about me.

The defendant in that case is a different George Plymale II. He has a different middle initial, a different date of birth, and he is a resident of a different state — all of which appear in the publicly available court record itself, so you do not have to take my word for any of it. I have never been charged with any offense, and I have no criminal record.

I have no known relationship to that person and have never met him. This page exists only so that the two of us are not mistaken for one another; it is not a comment on him or on his case.
