Legal
Privacy policy
Effective September 16, 2026
This site is designed to collect as little personal information as practical.
Information you provide
If you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address, inquiry category, and message. Please do not send passwords, financial details, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive personal information.
How information is used
Your submission is used to read, evaluate, and respond to your inquiry; maintain appropriate correspondence records; protect the site from abuse; and comply with legal obligations. The legal basis for processing is your request and, where applicable, legitimate interests in communicating and operating this site securely.
Storage and retention
The contact form itself stores nothing: it checks the anti-abuse verification and hands your message to email. Each submission is delivered to my mailbox, together with the country associated with your connection, and is kept indefinitely as a record of our correspondence. It is deleted only by my own action or in response to a privacy request (see below).
The web host that serves this site keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, request time, and requested URL) for security and troubleshooting. Raw logs are archived monthly and the previous month’s archive is deleted, so they are ordinarily kept for one to two months; monthly traffic statistics generated from them are retained. Cloudflare, which provides the site’s network, security, and analytics services, processes the same request data under its own privacy policy.
Sharing and service providers
Information is not sold, rented, or used for advertising. It may be processed by hosting, infrastructure, analytics, spam-prevention, and email providers acting as service providers, or disclosed when required by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, or involved in a transfer of this site. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising cookies. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. Cloudflare states that the service does not use client-side state such as cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint individuals by IP address, user-agent string, or other data; the reports show aggregate information such as page views, visits, referring sites, countries, browsers, operating systems, and device types.
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates connection and browser characteristics to distinguish people from automated abuse. Cloudflare also provides this site’s network and security services and processes visitor traffic as a service provider under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Links to other websites are governed by those sites’ own privacy practices.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your inquiry, or object to or restrict its processing. Use the contact form, choose “Privacy request,” and describe the request. Identity verification may be required. Depending on where you live, local law may provide additional rights and a right to complain to a data-protection authority. This Ohio-based site does not specifically target or monitor people in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other foreign jurisdictions.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and personal information from children under 13 is not knowingly collected. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may request its deletion.
Security and changes
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. This policy may be updated when the site or its practices change. A revised effective date will appear above.
Contact
Questions or privacy requests may be submitted through the contact form.
